WARROAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In a dramatic turn of events, two men from Warroad, Minnesota, find themselves entangled in a web of legal troubles following a routine traffic stop near their hometown.

Alvin Johnson Jr, the driver, and Andrew Cloud, the passenger, are now at the center of a criminal investigation after a series of alarming events unfolded during the traffic stop.

On March 17th, at 10:41 p.m., law enforcement officers responded to reports of a vehicle speeding through the Northern Lights trailer park near Warroad. Witnesses alleged that the vehicle’s occupants were making threats, prompting swift action from the authorities.

Upon pulling over the vehicle, officers immediately identified Johnson as the driver, noting his revoked driver’s license and the smell of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. Johnson was promptly arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI).

However, the situation escalated when attempts were made to communicate with Cloud, the passenger, who became hostile and verbally aggressive towards the officers. Despite repeated warnings to back down, Cloud persisted in advancing towards the officers, prompting a physical altercation.

In a shocking turn of events, Cloud spat on one of the officers, resulting in his arrest for fourth-degree assault. During the transport to the county jail, Cloud continued to make explicit threats towards the deputy and his family, escalating the severity of the charges against him.

Both Johnson and Cloud now face felony charges, including threats of violence and obstructing the legal process. The incident serves as a sobering reminder of the dangers law enforcement officers face daily.

Stay tuned for further updates as this story unfolds.
