Third Person Charged in Grand Forks Church Overdose Crash

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In a continuing development linked to the overdose crash into a church on South Washington Street in Grand Forks, a third individual has been charged in connection to the incident.

Initially, the driver, Issa Bawzer, faced charges of reckless endangerment, criminal vehicular injury, and possession of fentanyl after he overdosed, lost consciousness, and collided with the church. Following this, Marlee Louden of Grand Forks was charged with conspiracy to deliver fentanyl for allegedly supplying it before the crash.

Now, Alexis Patnaude, a passenger in the vehicle, has also been charged. Court documents reveal that Patnaude confessed to purchasing two M30 fentanyl pills and distributing them to individuals in the car, resulting in the driver’s overdose. Consequently, Patnaude is now facing a felony charge of fentanyl delivery.

This development underscores the complex chain of events leading to the tragic crash and the subsequent legal ramifications faced by those involved.
