RAMSEY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in Ramsey’s Rum River Central Regional Park on Monday, claiming the lives of a Monticello woman and her two young children in what investigators have termed an “isolated incident.”

Jessica L. Frank, 33, and her 9-year-old daughter Solara R. Frank were discovered lifeless inside a vehicle during a welfare check on Monday morning. Tragically, Jessica Frank’s son, 4-year-old Laiken L. Frank, was also found injured inside the vehicle and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

While the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office has officially identified the victims, they have withheld details concerning the manner of their deaths, leaving the community in mourning and speculation.

School officials have confirmed the devastating loss, revealing that Solara Frank was a beloved third-grade student at Twin Lakes Elementary School in Elk River, while Laiken Frank attended Discovery Learning preschool.

Authorities have assured the public that there is no apparent threat to public safety, hinting at a possible murder-suicide scenario, which is often the case in such tragic circumstances. The investigation is ongoing, with multiple agencies involved, including the Ramsey Police Department, Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.

As the community grapples with this unfathomable loss, thoughts and prayers are extended to the family and loved ones affected by this heartbreaking event.
