Dramatic Rescue Underway as Man Crawls Over Sorlie Bridge Railing

EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In a dramatic turn of events, emergency responders are currently engaged in a rescue operation beneath the Sorlie Bridge spanning the Red River between Downtown Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. The unfolding situation began this Tuesday evening when reports surfaced of a man exhibiting erratic behavior atop the bridge.

Eyewitnesses described seeing the man climb over the bridge railing, but it appears he did not fall into the water below. Instead, it’s believed he made his way into the structure beneath the bridge, where he was spotted walking on an ibeam beneath the bridge deck.

Emergency dispatch received frantic calls reporting the situation, prompting a swift response from first responders. Video footage captures the man pacing back and forth on the ibeam, with responders above attempting to reach him.
