RAMSEY COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Brandon Rogness, a resident of Watford City, is facing three counts of animal cruelty following a distressing discovery in Ramsey County.

Deputies responded to a call on Friday at 5047 91st Ave. NE Crary, North Dakota, reporting a dog locked inside a camper. Upon arrival, authorities were met with a grim scene: alongside a surviving dog, they found the skeletal remains of one dog and the partially eaten body of another, all amidst unsanitary conditions.

Rogness, the owner, was summoned to the camper, where the remaining dog was safely removed. Court documents reveal his acknowledgment of the deceased dog’s presence and his pessimistic assessment of the surviving dog’s health.

Despite claiming to have checked on the dogs recently and intending to do so again, Rogness admitted his inability to provide proper care and expressed efforts to rehome them. The distressing state of the surviving dog further underscores the severity of the situation.

Rogness awaits legal proceedings as the community grapples with the tragic outcome of animal neglect.
