Wasioja Township Rollover Injures Austin Man
Wasioja Township (trfnews.i234.me) — An Austin man was injured Monday after his pickup rolled off Highway 56 in Dodge County.
The crash happened at about 1:43 p.m. on September 14, 2026. It occurred near milepost 60 in Wasioja Township.
The Minnesota State Patrol said a 2008 Ford F-150 was traveling south on Highway 56. The pickup then lost control on the wet roadway.
The truck left the highway and entered the east ditch. It then rolled before coming to a stop.
Driver Taken To Rochester Hospital
Douglas Allen Adamson, 69, of Austin, was driving the Ford F-150.
Adamson suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening. Emergency crews transported him to St. Mary’s in Rochester for treatment.
The crash report said Adamson was wearing a seat belt. The pickup’s airbags did not deploy during the crash.
Alcohol was not suspected as a factor, according to the State Patrol.
Wet Road Reported
The State Patrol listed the road surface as wet when the crash happened.
Drivers should reduce speed during rain and allow more distance between vehicles. Wet roads can reduce traction and increase stopping distance.

Emergency Crews Respond
Dodge Center Fire Department and Dodge Center Ambulance responded to the scene. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.
Only one vehicle was involved in the crash. No other occupants were listed in the State Patrol report.
The incident was classified as an injury crash. The State Patrol marked the available information as complete Monday afternoon.
