WACOUTA TWP, Goodhue County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Red Wing man was hurt in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night on Highway 61.

The Minnesota State Patrol lists the crash as an injury incident. It happened on December 14, 2025. The time was 8:29 p.m.

The location was northbound Highway 61 near Wacouta Road in Wacouta Township. The road was listed as dry.

What happened

State Patrol reports a 2014 Ford F-150 was traveling north on Highway 61. The pickup left the roadway near Wacouta Road.

The report does not say why the truck left the road. The entry lists one vehicle involved.

The State Patrol also noted the truck’s airbag did not deploy. It also noted alcohol was not involved.

Driver identified

The driver was identified as David William Bade, 37, of Red Wing.

Troopers reported Bade was wearing a seat belt. His injuries were listed as non-life-threatening.

He was taken to a Red Wing hospital for care. The report lists the facility as “Red Wing Hospital.”
