Thief River Falls Man Charged After Missed Check-In

THIEF RIVER FALLS (trfnews.i234.me) — Lane Allen Anderson, 30, faces a felony charge involving Minnesota’s predatory offender registry.

Anderson was arrested after authorities alleged he failed to complete a required weekly check-in. The complaint was filed on June 24 in Pennington County.

Weekly Check-In Allegedly Missed

According to the complaint, an officer met with Anderson on June 3. The meeting was held to update his registry information.

Authorities said Anderson was homeless at the time. He was allegedly told to report to law enforcement every week.

The complaint states Anderson agreed to return on June 10. That visit was expected to serve as his next weekly check-in.

However, authorities said Anderson had not reported an address by June 12. Investigators then reviewed his registration status and prior case history.
