Don’t get caught off guard. The roads are slick. Slow down, wear your seat belt, put distractions away, and increase your following distance! Please slow down today! The roads have many icy spots. Some areas are good then suddenly they are not. Most of the gravel roads are glare ice!
Roads are still slick and messy this morning. From 9:30 last night to 7:30 this morning, troopers responded to 54 crashes and 95 vehicle spinouts. Please take your time. Wear your seat belt, increase your following distance and don’t get distracted.
Roads are improving but you still need to watch for slick spots. Between 7:30 and 11:30 this morning troopers responded to 82 crashes (17 with injuries), 85 vehicles off the road and three jackknifed semis. Please slow down!
