ST. PAUL, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – An investigation is underway following a fatal shooting involving police in St. Paul on Monday night.
Authorities reported that officers responded to a report of a suicide in progress and were engaging with the woman when she brandished a handgun and aimed it at the officers.
In response, the officers discharged their duty weapons, resulting in the woman’s death despite paramedics’ efforts at the scene.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is spearheading the inquiry, and the officers implicated have been put on administrative leave. Further details have not yet been disclosed.
