Red Lake Falls DWI Arrests Lead Weekly Report

RED LAKE COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — Red Lake County deputies handled several incidents between July 24 and July 29.

The weekly report included two DWI arrests and a fake identification citation. Deputies also responded to several community calls.

Fake ID Reported at Plummer Bar

The sheriff’s office received a report from D&K Corner Bar on July 24.

Staff said someone tried using a fake identification card during the previous evening.

The bartender kept the identification card and later gave it to a deputy.

Gavin Peter Carl Thomas, 18, of Oklee, was cited for allegedly displaying or possessing fake identification.

The reported offense is classified as a misdemeanor.

A deputy stopped a vehicle early July 25 on County Road 1.

The vehicle was traveling east of Red Lake Falls. The stop followed observed erratic driving.

George Marlow Duden, 23, of Red Lake Falls, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI.

Duden was booked and released later that morning. He is expected to receive a court summons.

Deputies received another report early July 29 in Red Lake Falls.

A caller reported a man sleeping behind the wheel in Oaks Trailer Court.

A responding deputy found Shannon James Anderson, 56, of Red Lake Falls, inside the vehicle.

Authorities alleged Anderson was intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to the Crookston jail.

Anderson was booked on suspicion of gross misdemeanor DWI test refusal.

He appeared in court on July 30. The court set cash bail at $1,200.

He must also follow court-ordered conditions before his release. His next hearing is August 14 in Red Lake Falls.

Sean Raymond Weber, 51, of Oklee, was arrested during the evening of July 29.

Weber was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor driving after revocation.

He appeared in court on July 30. He was released after promising to return.

His next hearing is scheduled for August 28 in Red Lake Falls.

A Plummer resident reported a missing German Shepherd during the evening of July 25.

The dog is white and black. Anyone with information should contact the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies also helped settle a property dispute at a Red Lake Falls residence.

A Plummer resident reported an online scam on July 26. That case remains under investigation.

Suspected scams may also be reported through the Federal Trade Commission.

A deputy later found a child who had left a Pennington County residence.

The child was found at a Red Lake Falls home and returned to a guardian.

An Oklee resident also reported harassment. A deputy spoke with the resident and provided guidance.
