Pokegama Township Crash Injures Three Women
Pokegama Township (trfnews.i234.me) — Three women were injured Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Pine County.
The collision happened at about 10:29 a.m. on September 17, 2026.
The crash occurred near County Road 11 and County Road 53.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions.
A 2005 Mercury Sable was traveling east on County Road 11.
A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on the same road.
The vehicles collided near the intersection with County Road 53.
Three Women Taken To Welia Health
Lillian Christine Vanalst, 76, of Ogilvie, was driving the Mercury Sable.
She suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Vanalst was taken to Welia Health for treatment.
Alisha Marie Severin, 33, of Duluth, was a passenger in the Mercury.
She also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Heidi Ann Severin, 62, of Mora, was another passenger.
She also suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Both passengers were taken to Welia Health for medical care.
All three women were wearing seat belts, according to the State Patrol.
Pickup Driver Was Not Injured
Nicholas Charles Linn, 42, of Brook Park, was driving the Chevrolet Silverado.
Linn was not injured in the collision.
He was wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred.
Airbags did not deploy in either vehicle.
Alcohol was not suspected for anyone listed in the crash report.
Emergency Crews Respond
The road was dry when the vehicles collided.
Pine County law enforcement and ambulance crews assisted at the scene.
The State Patrol listed the incident under case number 26271983.
Officials marked the crash information as complete Thursday afternoon.
