Moose Lake Township (trfnews.i234.me) — A Barnum woman was injured Thursday afternoon in a head-on crash on Highway 27.

The collision happened at about 2:35 p.m. on September 17, 2026.

The crash occurred near Highway 27 and County Road 8 in Carlton County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ford Bronco was traveling west.

The Bronco crossed the center line near County Road 8, according to the crash report.

It then collided head-on with an eastbound Kia EV6.

Barnum Driver Taken To Duluth

Teresa Carole Feleppa, 67, of Barnum, was driving the 2023 Kia EV6.

Feleppa suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.

She was taken to Essentia Health in Duluth for medical treatment.

Feleppa was wearing a seat belt when the collision occurred.

The Kia’s airbags deployed during the crash.

Officials did not report alcohol as a suspected factor involving Feleppa.

Bronco Driver Was Not Injured

Camilla Louise Bath, 43, was driving the 2026 Ford Bronco.

The State Patrol did not list a hometown for Bath.

Bath was not injured in the crash.

She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.

The Bronco’s airbags also deployed.

Alcohol was not suspected as a factor involving Bath.

Emergency Crews Respond

The road was dry when the head-on collision occurred.

Emergency crews from Essentia Moose Lake responded to the scene.

The Moose Lake Fire Department also assisted.

The Carlton County Sheriff’s Department provided assistance at the crash scene.

The State Patrol classified the incident as an injury crash.

The crash was assigned State Patrol case number 26271986.

The agency marked the information as complete Thursday evening.

The report was last updated at 5:56 p.m.

No other occupants were listed in either vehicle.

The State Patrol report did not list any additional injuries.
