Multi-Vehicle Crash in Northwest Metro Sends Driver to Hospital

MONTICELLO, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In a dramatic collision involving a school bus, a dump truck, and a minivan, one driver was airlifted to the hospital on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. in Monticello at the junction of Highway 25 and Wright County Road 37, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Eyewitnesses reported that all three vehicles were traveling northbound on the highway when the crash occurred, resulting in a chaotic scene.

The sole individual injured in the collision was the driver of the minivan, identified as a 44-year-old man from Becker. Fortunately, the Minnesota State Patrol confirmed that his injuries are non-life threatening, and he is currently receiving medical treatment at a metropolitan hospital.

Remarkably, no students were on board the school bus at the time of the accident, sparing them from potential harm.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine its cause and any possible contributing factors.

  1. I am amazed we don't have more of these.I am against ND law requiring a blue light on a bus,it does nothing but bother others, the strobe is not safe for everyone.Agriculture vehicles get a simple triangle, this needs to change,we have anhydrous trailers on our major highways with only the sign. We need to pass laws for all, whether they like it or not when your on a public road safety first, politics second, jmo.
