Shaugabay was formally charged with a third-degree controlled substance sale after his initial court appearance on Thursday, June 6.
The charges stem from an incident on May 28, where Shaugabay allegedly sold six grams of methamphetamine, including packaging, for $250 to an informant cooperating with police in East Grand Forks. This information was detailed in the probable cause statement associated with his arrest.
