What happened
Police say the call came in on Wednesday at 2:07 p.m.
A passerby reported an unresponsive man on the Greenway.
The location was south of the railroad bridge.
Officers arrived and found the man face down in the snow.
Police said he was clearly deceased at the scene.
No life-saving efforts were started due to the situation.
Investigation status
Investigators did not see obvious trauma at the scene.
Police have not confirmed a cause of death.
Cold conditions limited a full body exam at the time.
Police said more examination work is still needed.
That work will help determine how the man died.
Authorities said there is no known threat to the public.
The man’s identity is not being released at this time.
Police said his name will be shared after the family is notified.
