GRAND FORKS, ND ( – In a developing situation, Grand Forks witnesses a surge in police presence following reports of a citizen firing a shot at an intruder. Around 4:45 p.m., radio transmissions indicated gunfire at the 2700 block of South 40th Street. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.

The alleged intruder fled the scene on foot, prompting uncertainty about their whereabouts – whether they remain within the building or have escaped. A significant police deployment swiftly arrived, heightening the sense of urgency and concern in the area.

As of 4:50 p.m., observations suggest a potential reduction in police activity, leaving the status of the suspect’s apprehension uncertain. However, there are no indications of injuries resulting from the incident.
