Dickinson Man Charged In DWI Refusal Case

BELTRAMI COUNTY, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) — Christopher Dale Greene, 29, of Dickinson, North Dakota, is facing a gross misdemeanor DWI test refusal charge in Beltrami County District Court.

The case was filed under court file number 04-CR-26-805.

According to the criminal complaint, the alleged offense happened on April 6, 2026.

Greene is accused of refusing a chemical breath test after driving or operating a motor vehicle.

Gross Misdemeanor Charge Filed

The complaint lists the charge as second-degree DWI test refusal.

The charge carries a maximum sentence of 364 days in jail.

It also carries a possible $3,000 fine.

Prosecutors allege Greene had a prior non-felony DWI conviction within 10 years.

Traffic Stop Near Mission Bridge

The complaint says law enforcement responded around 8:45 p.m.

A caller reported a disturbance at a residence on Williams Road Southeast.

The caller reported that Greene had entered the home.

The complaint says children were inside at the time.

Dispatch later reported that Greene had left the area.

He was reportedly driving a white pickup toward Mission Bridge.

Officers later found a white pickup matching that report.

A traffic stop was conducted, and Greene was identified as the driver.

Complaint Alleges Test Refusal

During the stop, officers reported signs of alcohol impairment.

The complaint says an odor of alcohol came from Greene’s breath.

Greene refused a preliminary breath test, according to the complaint.

He also refused field sobriety testing.

Greene was then placed under arrest.

The complaint says he was later read the Minnesota implied consent advisory.

Authorities allege Greene then refused to provide a breath test.

Greene has been charged by complaint.
