Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Minneapolis woman now faces three felony charges after a reported gun incident in the Breezy Point area of Cass County.

According to a criminal complaint, Laurel Jacqueline Henry, 21, is charged with three counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. Prosecutors allege she used a firearm to make three people fear immediate harm or death.

What the complaint says

The complaint says officers were sent to a home on Breezy Point Circle NW after a report of a disturbance involving several people and a gun.

When authorities arrived, they found a white Honda in the driveway with three people connected to the call. Witnesses near the home said the group had tried to jump them and had pulled a gun.

Investigators say Tyson Raymond Jackson and Devin Charles Jackson were also involved in the confrontation. The complaint says Tyson Jackson fought with CAS near the home. CAS later showed injuries to his face.

Witnesses told investigators that Henry got out of the vehicle carrying a large firearm. They said she pointed it at CAS, LDB, and CAS’s mother during the fight. One witness described the weapon as an AR-style firearm.

Weapons listed in court filing

According to the complaint, authorities later found several weapons tied to the vehicle. The filing lists a Glock pistol, an AK-style pistol, and an AR-style rifle.

The complaint also says Henry later made statements during booking about grabbing Tyson Jackson’s AR after getting a call for help.

Investigators also reviewed casino surveillance video from earlier that night. The complaint says the video showed Tyson Jackson assaulting a woman identified as SJJ. The filing says she later reported soreness and facial injuries, but did not want charges filed.

Case status

The court filing includes one date issue. The charge section lists March 28, 2026. But the probable cause narrative describes the events as happening on May 28, 2026.

Henry’s charges were filed in Cass County District Court. The charge of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon is defined under Minnesota Statute 609.222.

Charges are accusations, not convictions. Henry is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
