101 Cats Rescued from Neglectful Conditions in Crosby Home

CROSBY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A rescue operation unfolded in Crosby on Thursday afternoon as the Crosby Police Department, in collaboration with the Minnesota Federated Humane Society, executed a search warrant at a residence following distressing reports of animal cruelty, neglect, and hoarding.

Responding to alarming complaints from concerned citizens about deplorable living conditions and the mistreatment of animals, authorities intervened swiftly. Upon entering the premises, law enforcement and humane society officials were met with a heartbreaking scene: 101 cats living in squalid conditions, enduring neglect and cruelty.

Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, the cats were promptly removed from the dire situation and transported to the Tri-County Humane Society in St. Cloud for evaluation, care, and eventual adoption. This collaborative effort underscores the importance of community vigilance and swift action in safeguarding animal welfare.
