we have an update uh regarding a large uh police presence and perimeter set up around uh north fifth and north seventh street uh just north of uh downtown grand forks after four o’clock this afternoon just talk with police and the sheriff’s department sheriff’s department said they had a warrant for a guy wanted on some outstanding drug issues he took off on foot running he’s not in custody the sheriff’s department said it’s not expected he should be any danger to the public now almost at the same time there was a call for an unresponsive male over on north 7th street a person laying on their back with a bicycle on top of them but sergeant dries the grand forks police department tells me that person was simply intoxicated and nothing to do with the large police presence and perimeter set up for the suspect who ran i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
