UPDATE: Grand Forks Police Have Suspect In Custody Following Shots Fired Incident

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A suspect is in custody, after shots fired at Grand Forks Police Friday afternoon. No injuries.
this update now regarding shots fired in Grand Forks on this uh Friday afternoon this from uh Grand Forks Police this afternoon 2:15 p.m. a members of the gr Forks Regional SWAT team attempted to serve a high-risk warrant in the 3300 block of Primrose Drive on a male suspect officers identified themselves and the male made contact with the uh maale next to his vehicle upon seeing the officers the male immediately opened fire on them forcing them to return fire during the exchange of gunfire no one was struck or injured the male then ran a short distance where he gave up and uh was taken into custody without further incident the males identified as 30-year-old Jeffrey Simpson Jr of grandforks due to the nature of the incident the investigation was turned over to Agents from the North Dakota Bureau of criminal investigation uh gr Forks Police would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to all emergency services and agencies involved in and providing support to the incident I’m Neil Berg reporting for I [Music] trfnews.i234.me
