DULUTH, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In a devastating turn of events, Dale John Howard, 25, finds himself at the center of a chilling murder case involving his girlfriend, Allisa Vollan, 27. Vollan’s lifeless body was discovered at an apartment complex on 31 East 5th Street last Friday, marking a tragic end to a tumultuous relationship.

Howard now faces two felony counts related to Vollan’s death: 2nd Degree Murder Without Intent While Committing a Felony, and 2nd Degree Murder While Under a Restraining Order for Protection.

The circumstances surrounding Vollan’s death are shrouded in mystery and horror. Despite an active Domestic Abuse No Contact Order against him, Howard had been in contact with Vollan, leading to a series of escalating events.

Neighbors reported hearing disturbing sounds emanating from Howard’s apartment in the early hours of March 22, including cries of distress and thudding noises. These harrowing details paint a grim picture of the events that unfolded within the confines of Howard’s residence.

In his statement to the police, Howard claimed innocence, stating that he found Vollan unresponsive after returning home from an outing. However, his assertions stand in stark contrast to the evidence and witness testimonies.

As the community grapples with the shock of Vollan’s untimely demise, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support her funeral expenses and legal proceedings. Described as a vibrant individual with a promising future, Vollan’s tragic end serves as a stark reminder of the dangers lurking within abusive relationships.

  1. The sad thing is I worked with this man and had respect for him at one point. It’s crazy how little you really know someone. We shared our life stories and he tried to help guide me in the right direction. I wish things would’ve been different and better for dale but he put himself in this situation and now he has too live with the consequences. Stay safe y’all and keep your guard up❤

    1. Ayllsa, let herself into Dale’s home. Dale walked into HIS home after being dropped off after work, and there she was, unexpected and watching TV in HIS home. Ayllsa had also been seeing other men throughout her relationship with Dale. She was homeless when they met. Dale let her move in with him. But just because she lied about seeing other men, and took it upon herself to let herself in that Thursday does not mean she deserved to loose her life. And there hasn’t been a toxicology report released as of yet by the way. Miss Vollan having had previously been arrested for DWI not quite a year before her death. GETTING A DWI doesn’t mean she was a horrible person, or that she deserved to loose her life. So if we are making assumptions about Dale’s character, let’s look at the facts of Miss Vollans past. No body except God, Dale, and Ayllsa know what led up to her unfortunate end, and the exact cause or causes.
