Thief River Falls Police Department cases

Kristen Lee Johnson, 35, Oklee, stay of adjudication for a felony charge of second-degree assault and continued, $125, supervised probation for five years,  comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing, complete level of treatment and aftercare recommended, not to use or possess firearms,  ammunition or explosives, $700 in restitution, the defense has 30 days to file an objection to restitution, charges of fifth-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal damage to property were dismissed.

Jason Polo Armijo, 43, Thief River Falls, a felony charge of first-degree burglary dismissed

Ivirnest Leon Phillio, 24, Fresno, Texas, a charge of cannabis open package – possess in motor vehicle, not compliant packaging or container dismissed

Jay Daniel Bruski, 30, Thief River Falls, stay of adjudication for a charge of theft – find an appropriate lost property and continued, unsupervised probation for six months, a charge of theft – legal interest – permanently deprive another dismissed.

Pennington County Sheriff’s Office cases

Benjamen Brian Espeseth, 35, Thief River Falls, a charge of domestic assault continued for dismissal, unsupervised probation for six months, no contact with victim(s) except as provided through family court.

Shane Lavern Wilkens, 49, Goodridge, 78/60, $145, a charge of no proof of insurance dismissed

John Closner, 23, Thief River Falls, third-degree driving while impaired, $710, 364 days in jail stayed for four years, probation to the court for four years, comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing, complete level of treatment and aftercare recommended

Kyle Richard Niemela, 33, Thief River Falls, displaying cancelled/stolen/revoked license plates, $385

Robert R. Ritter-Ohr, 34, Thief River Falls, a charge of disorderly conduct dismissed.

Brendan David Edward Neadeau, 32, Red Lake, third-degree DWI – 0.16 or greater, $810, 364 days in jail stayed for four years, probation to the court for four years, comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing, complete level of treatment and aftercare recommended, charge of driving after revocation dismissed

Tristan Rae Louis Belgarde, 20, Thief River Falls, domestic assault, $210, 90 days in jail stayed for two years, supervised probation for two years, Domestic Abuse Batterers’ Intervention Program, comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing, complete level of treatment and aftercare recommended; charge of interference with a 911 call dismissed.

electronic home monitoring, jail  90 days in jail stayed for one year, comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing, complete level of treatment and aftercare recommended, stay of adjudication for a charge of carrying a pistol while under the influence of alcohol – concentration of 0.10 or more continued, $100, unsupervised probation for one year, charges of loaded firearm, open bottle and two other charges of DWI were dismissed.
