Thief River Falls Man Cited After Field Fire

Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — A Thief River Falls man has been cited after a field fire was reported outside Holtan Iron.

The sheriff’s office received the report on May 1 at 11:31 a.m. The report said the fire was burning in a field near the business.

Authorities later cited Dean Gustave Holtan, 64, of Thief River Falls. The citation was for forestry, open burning, and prohibited garbage.
