Officer finds vehicle after hours
According to the citation, the incident happened on Dec. 20 at 11:25 p.m. Police observed a vehicle at Northdale Square in Thief River Falls. The business had already closed, police said.
The citation says the vehicle’s hood was up. A man was standing outside the vehicle when the officer first saw it. Police later identified him as Joshua David Lee Weber.
Police say Weber got back into the vehicle as the officer approached. The citation notes the officer knew Weber’s driving privileges were revoked.

Charges listed in the citation
Weber, 31, of Thief River Falls, was cited for fourth-degree DWI. He was also cited for driving after revocation. Police also cited him for possession of an open cannabis package in a motor vehicle.
Police say Weber was arrested. The citation says he told the officer he was driving home from work.
Impairment claims
The citation says Weber showed possible signs of controlled substance use. Police say he failed field sobriety tests.
When asked, Weber allegedly said he last used methamphetamine two weeks earlier. The citation notes a blood alcohol content level was not available.
