At 759 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Forest River to 7 miles northwest of Holmes to
near Golden Lake. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, Grand Forks AFB, Thompson, Hatton,
Emerado, and Alvarado.
This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 112 and 165.
