RED LAKE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Jennifer Marie Stately, 35, is under fire as she faces four felony charges linked to a harrowing child abduction case that set off an Amber Alert last week.

Stately stands accused of third-degree assault on a child under 4 years old, child torture, malicious punishment of a child, and child neglect.

The alarming incident unfolded last Friday around 9:24 p.m. when the Todd County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a tip about a vehicle central to an ongoing Amber Alert. Law enforcement swiftly located the vehicle on Highway 71 in Todd County, discovering Stately and a child under 4 years old inside.

Disturbing details emerged as authorities observed the child’s distressing condition. Covered in scabs and open sores, the child bore the signs of severe neglect. Reports indicated a pervasive odor of body filth, suggesting prolonged lack of hygiene.

Further examination at Long Prairie Hospital revealed extensive injuries, including rotting teeth and lesions indicative of potential chemical burns.

Stately faces serious allegations of child endangerment, neglect, and assault. Following her arrest, she was remanded to the Todd County Detention Center, pending ongoing investigations.

The community awaits further developments as authorities pursue justice in this distressing case.

  1. I'm from leeh Lake, and my heart and head hurts hearing about this, and it better be a swift trial when the feds get ahold of her.
Everyone is asking why nobody noticed
It's easy and hard to explain at the same time.
In the drug world, people do not care
    People look the other way
They are not in the right state of mind
On the other hand, extended family members kinda just sit back and ignore the noise down the street in fears of retaliation. Red Lake is so rual, and the resources are limited, but still, this shouldn't be happening at all!
I remember a case from about 20 years ago
2 kids went missing and were found dead 2 miles behinde they're house in a wooded area
Do you really think kids as young as 6 and 4 would wonder that far? πŸ€”
That case has never sat right with me.
