Red Lake Falls Sheriff Calls: Citation, Thefts, Disputes
Red Lake Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — Red Lake County deputies handled several calls between September 4 and September 9.
The incidents included disputes, theft reports, a driving citation and an abandoned bicycle.
Several cases remain under investigation.
Driver Cited South of Red Lake Falls
Deputies first handled a landlord and tenant dispute during the afternoon of September 4.
The dispute happened in Red Lake Falls.
Law enforcement helped mediate the disagreement.
No criminal charges were reported from that incident.
Later that afternoon, Sean Bradley Hicks, 41, of Red Lake Falls was stopped on Highway 32.
The traffic stop occurred south of Red Lake Falls.
Hicks was cited for misdemeanor driving after revocation.
A citation is an allegation and does not represent a finding of guilt.
Theft Reports Remain Under Investigation
The sheriff’s office received a theft report during the evening of September 5.
The reported theft happened at a location in Equality Township.
Authorities said the case remains under investigation.
Another property dispute was reported during the evening of September 6.
A caller said a Brooks resident had property belonging to another person.
The caller reported that the property had not been returned.
That matter also remains under investigation.
Blocked Driveway Reported Near School
Deputies responded to another call on the afternoon of September 9.
A vehicle was parked along Champagne Avenue in Red Lake Falls.
The vehicle was near Lafayette High School and was blocking a driveway.
A deputy contacted the vehicle’s owner.
The vehicle was then moved.
Deputy Recovers Abandoned Bicycle
Later that evening, someone reported a bicycle near a Red Lake Falls bike path.
The bicycle was behind the Auto Value building.
The caller said it had been there for several days.
A deputy collected the bicycle for safekeeping.

Louisville Township Dispute Mediated
A deputy also handled an ongoing dispute in Louisville Township on September 9.
One person was told they were trespassed from another person’s residence.
Authorities reported that no crimes were committed.
No further action was taken.
