PLUMMER, MINN. — Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly head-on crash on U.S. Highway 59 near Plummer.
Emergency traffic indicated Plummer Fire was paged to Highway 59 just north of Plummer just before 7 a.m. Wednesday. Dispatch traffic described a head-on crash and reported a vehicle on fire.
State Patrol Sgt. Jesse Grabow later confirmed that one person died and another was injured in the crash.
