Moped Collision Leaves Man Seriously Injured in Grand Forks Saturday Afternoon

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In a concerning development, a collision between a moped and a car occurred in Grand Forks on Saturday afternoon, resulting in severe injuries to the moped driver.

At approximately 2:36 p.m., Grand Forks Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Demers Avenue and South 20th Street. Upon investigation, it was determined that a 2016 Buick Encore, driven by Judith Brusi, was westbound on Demers Avenue, turning south onto South 20th Street. Meanwhile, a moped operated by 27-year-old Thomas Wolf was traveling east on Demers Avenue. The collision ensued when the two vehicles collided at the intersection.

Thomas Wolf sustained serious injuries in the crash and was promptly transported to Altru Hospital for medical treatment. The incident remains under investigation by authorities, and as of now, no citations have been issued.

Emergency services, including the Altru Ambulance and Grand Forks Fire Department, assisted at the scene. Grand Forks Police urge anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and provide assistance in their ongoing investigation.
