Moorhead Man Charged in $8,000 Property Damage Case

Moorhead, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — Dylan Charles Strong faces a felony property damage charge in Clay County District Court.

The complaint says police had contact with Strong near the business around 3:54 a.m.

That contact occurred during the same overnight period, according to court records.

Prosecutors say Strong wore clothing matching the person shown in the security footage.

The complaint uses that clothing match as part of its probable cause allegations.

Strong is charged with first-degree damage to property.

The charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 609.595.

Prosecutors allege Strong intentionally damaged property without the owner’s consent.

They also allege the damage reduced the property’s value by more than $1,000.

The complaint lists the offense as a felony.

The maximum penalty is five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.

The complaint was filed in Minnesota’s 7th Judicial District.
