Vehicle No. 1: 2004 Freightliner CMV pulling a dump trailer
Driver No. 1: Male, 46, Parshall, not injured

Vehicle No. 2: 2012 GMC Sierra
Driver No. 2: Male, 67, Karlsruhe, fatal injuries

NARRATIVE: On Tuesday, September 22 at approximately 7:30 a.m., a 2012 GMC Sierra was traveling west on 44th Street North near Velva. A 2004 Freightliner CMV pulling a dump trailer was traveling east on the same roadway. As the Freightliner was turning north onto 12th Avenue North, it struck the Sierra. The driver of the Sierra died at the scene; the driver of the Freightliner was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota State Patrol.
