Man Found Dead Near Cass Lake; Investigation Ongoing
Cass Lake (trfnews.i234.me) — Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead Sunday morning near Cass Lake, Minnesota.
The death was reported in Pike Bay Township in rural Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office received the ambulance request at about 7:57 a.m. on Sunday, September 13.
The request came from the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department.
Authorities were sent to the area of John Moose Drive NW. The original call reported a man who was possibly deceased.
Man Found Outside Residence
Emergency medical crews and law enforcement officers arrived at the location.
They found a man dead in the yard of a residence, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators immediately began examining the circumstances surrounding the death.
Authorities have not released the man’s name. They also have not announced a cause or manner of death.
