Lockdown Lifted at Grand Forks Air Force Base After Reported Gunshot

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The Grand Forks Air Force Base lifted its lockdown at 4:35 pm Wednesday following a report of a single gunshot near the medical clinic. Security personnel initiated lockdown procedures out of caution. No injuries were reported, and after a thorough sweep, no source of the sound was found.

Normal operations resumed just after 1 pm, with security forces swiftly responding to the incident. Despite exhaustive efforts, no suspect was located during the door-to-door sweep.
