A Level 3 sex offender moved elsewhere in Thief River Falls on Saturday, May 31.
He was already living in Thief River Falls.
Steven Glen Bruyere, 66, relocated to a home in the 1000 block of Main Avenue North, according to information provided by the Thief River Falls Police Department.
The Minnesota Department of Corrections does not list a specific address.
Level 3 sex offenders are classified as those most likely to reoffend.
Bruyere engaged in sexual contact multiple times with a girl he knew. His conduct included taking sexually explicit photos and videos of the victim and showing her pornography. The contact involved sexual touching. Bruyere used bribery, exploited his position of authority, and took advantage of the victim’s vulnerable state to gain her compliance.
Additionally, Bruyere possessed child sexual abuse images of other girls.
The public is reminded that Bruyere has served the sentence imposed on him by the court.
He is described as an American Indian or Alaskan Native male with black hair and brown eyes. Bruyere is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 299 pounds.
