Kittson County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Davenport, Minnesota, man was hurt Thursday morning after a tractor rolled into a ditch near Karlstad.
The crash happened at 9:57 a.m. on May 7, 2026. It occurred on Highway 11 at County Road 14 in Kittson County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol crash report, a 1997 conventional tractor was traveling west on Highway 11. The vehicle lost control and rolled into the ditch.
Driver Taken To Hospital
The driver was identified as Steven Wayne Jenson, 54, of Davenport, Minnesota.
Jenson suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. He was taken to Thief River Falls Hospital for care.
The State Patrol report said Jenson was wearing a seat belt. Alcohol was not suspected in the crash.
Road Was Dry At Time Of Crash
The road surface was listed as dry when the rollover happened.
No other vehicles were reported as involved. The vehicle’s airbag status was listed as not applicable.
The incident was handled in the State Patrol’s Thief River Falls district.
Several local agencies assisted at the scene. They included Kittson County, Tri-County EMS, and the Karlstad Fire Department.
