High Number of Police Officers Seen in Grand Forks Community Thursday Evening

some breaking news out of grand forks on this thursday evening here’s video at 6 50 p.m we have a large police presence between the 11 and 1200 blocks of south 18th street not sure exactly what’s going on we did hear some traffic that they were looking for a woman exactly why we’re not sure yet uh but i’ve got some streets blocked off in this area uh this would be near uh ben franklin school we’ll come around the corner here down to another block there’s another police cruiser there and uh coming up down the street here another street segment is blocked off again this is between the 11 and 1200 blocks of uh south 18th street uh it looks like they have a perimeter set up but we did hear word that they were looking for a woman now we don’t know if this is a welfare check or uh some type of criminal activity um haven’t been able to talk with the police yet they’re busy doing their thing so we’ll try to give you an update as soon as possible but again uh large police presence uh got about maybe one of the camera people counted six seven maybe eight different uh police cruisers uh in this area and it looks like they’ve kind of got a perimeter set up with some of the streets blocked off here so we’ll update the story as soon as uh more information is available i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
