Narrative: At approximately 12:10 a.m., Griggs County requested NDHP assistance for a vehicle crash near Binford, ND. Sarah Mikkelsen, driving westbound on Highway 65, lost control at the intersection of Highway 1. Her Jeep Grand Cherokee overturned several times upon entering the ditch. Mikkelsen, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries, was transported to Cooperstown for treatment. She faces DUI charges, a Class B Misdemeanor, and a traffic citation for an open container of alcohol. The ND Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
