GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In the quiet hours of Monday morning, chaos unfolded on the streets of Grand Forks as 23-year-old Mackenzie Bushee found herself at the center of a harrowing incident. Court documents reveal that Bushee, a resident of Grand Forks, is now confronting severe legal repercussions following a crash that occurred at 1:14 a.m. in the 800 block of North Third Street.
According to police reports, Bushee collided with two parked cars during the early morning hours, leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. Upon apprehension by law enforcement, she openly admitted to her culpability, confessing to officers that she had been drinking and driving at the time of the incident.
A preliminary breath test conducted at the scene indicated a blood alcohol concentration of 0.195, more than twice the legal limit. As a result of her actions, Bushee now faces two felony charges, including reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
This alarming turn of events serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by driving under the influence, prompting authorities to emphasize the importance of responsible behavior behind the wheel.
