GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Grand Forks woman is facing multiple criminal charges after allegedly attempting to enter an occupied car stopped at a downtown traffic light.
On Wednesday, 47-year-old Jannette R. Diaz reportedly tried to get into a vehicle at the intersection of Fifth Street and DeMers Avenue, scaring the driver. Court documents state that officers witnessed the incident and subsequently intervened. Diaz allegedly resisted arrest and threatened the officers during the altercation.
Diaz now faces three felony charges: attempted unlawful entry into a vehicle, preventing arrest, and terrorizing, as well as a misdemeanor charge of refusing to halt.
