Grand Forks Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking After Traffic Stop Reveals Meth and Mushrooms

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Candy Ostlund, 49, of Grand Forks, is facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop on August 23rd uncovered a significant stash of illegal substances. Ostlund was pulled over in Grand Forks for having expired tabs. During the stop, a K9 unit indicated the presence of drugs, leading to the discovery of 29 grams of methamphetamine, 3.8 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, a scale, and various drug paraphernalia.

Ostlund now faces felony charges for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, she is charged with two misdemeanors: possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms and prescription pills.
