Grand Forks ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Grand Forks woman is facing charges after an unusual incident at a local apartment early Saturday morning. Court records show she is accused of entering an apartment nude and causing damage.

According to court documents, officers responded at 5:41 a.m. on September 7 after a male resident reported trouble with a woman he had invited into his apartment. The man told police that Sabrina Lynn Hamley, of Grand Forks, began breaking items inside his residence shortly after arriving. When he asked her to leave, she refused.

The victim stated that Hamley then removed her clothing and would not exit the apartment. He eventually escorted her into the hallway, where she was completely nude. Security camera video later confirmed Hamley kicking at the apartment door and using her shoulder to force her way back inside while the resident tried to keep the door closed.

Police say Hamley repeatedly attempted to re-enter the apartment, causing visible damage. She has now been charged with felony criminal trespass and misdemeanor criminal mischief. Hamley was taken into custody and booked following the incident.

No injuries were reported, but authorities note the case remains under review. If convicted, Hamley could face significant penalties for the felony charge. Under North Dakota law, criminal trespass statutes outline serious consequences for entering property without consent, especially when force is involved.

The case is scheduled for further hearings in Grand Forks District Court.
