GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A 27-year-old man from Grand Forks is facing a felony charge of luring minors by computer, according to court documents obtained in October 2023. Bryce Anthony Moore was on probation at the North Dakota Treatment Center in Fargo when he allegedly started contacting a 16-year-old girl from Grand Forks County via Snapchat.

Moore is accused of engaging in explicit sexual conversations with the minor and asking for a nude photo, which she did not send. The incident was reported to law enforcement, leading to an investigation that resulted in Moore’s arrest on October 13th. He has been charged with one count of luring minors by computer, a Class C felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Moore remains jailed at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center awaiting his next court appearance. This is not Moore’s first run-in with the law; he has prior convictions for drug possession and driving under the influence.

The alleged victim and her family are reportedly shaken but unharmed by the incident. Law enforcement officials urge parents to monitor their children’s online activity and remind them of the potential dangers lurking on social media platforms like Snapchat.
