Grand Forks County (trfnews.i234.me) — Damon James Johns, of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, has been charged with felony child neglect and misdemeanor domestic violence in Grand Forks, according to court documents.
The charges stem from an incident on March 15th at a Grand Forks motel, where Johns and his female partner had allegedly been drinking. The situation escalated into an argument, during which Johns allegedly struck his partner and pushed her into a glass sliding door — while she was holding a child.
Authorities responded and have since filed charges. Johns remains in custody pending further court proceedings.
