Grand Forks Braces for Up to 14 Inches of Snow in Winter Storm Alert

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We’re in a Winter Storm Warning Until Monday evening. The National Weather Service in Grand Forks says travel could become impossible at times later tonight.
there’s a last look at uh highway 2 in the daylight between grand forks and crookston late on this sunday afternoon we’re in a winter storm warning you can see in the radar there on the right snow just starting to move into the area here at uh 4 45 p.m roads still in pretty good driving condition although some icy conditions in different places here let’s take a look at the national weather service graphic out of grand forks now forecasting as much as 14 inches of snow in some places weather service saying snow will spread north and east this evening with heavy snow overnight snow ending monday morning in southeastern north dakota and west central minnesota but continuing into the afternoon in northeastern north dakota and northwest minnesota gusty east winds tonight during the snow will turn around to the west and northwest and gusts to 30 to 40 miles per hour with potential gusts to 50 miles per hour over parts of eastern north dakota monday afternoon travel will be difficult if not impossible again here’s a look at the highway 2 between grand forks and crookston as our sunday turns into sunday evening and we remain in a winter storm warning i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
