Grand Forks Air Force Base Locked Down After Report of Gunshot; No Injuries Reported

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, ND ( – Tom Carlson here with breaking news from the Grand Forks Air Force Base. At approximately 1:00 p.m., the base’s Security Forces received a report of a single gunshot near the medical clinic and base exchange. In response, the base issued a lockdown as a precautionary measure.

As of 2:30 p.m., no injuries have been reported. Law enforcement officials are conducting thorough door-to-door sweeps to ensure the safety of all personnel on the base. Despite responding to the report of a single shot fired, there is no confirmation of any injuries at this time.
