Goodridge Crash: Roseau Man Faces 3 Felonies

Goodridge (trfnews.i234.me) — A Roseau man is facing three felony charges after a two-vehicle crash near Goodridge.

Michael Thmor Daigle, 45, is charged in Pennington County District Court.

The case is filed under Court File No. 57-CR-26-256.

Daigle faces three counts of criminal vehicular operation causing substantial bodily harm.

The charges stem from a February 13, 2026, crash.

Crash Reported Near Goodridge

According to the complaint, emergency crews were called around 7:50 a.m.

The crash happened near Minnesota Highway 1 and 310th Avenue Northeast.

Authorities found a white Buick sedan in the roadway.

A black GMC Sierra was found in the northwest ditch.

Both vehicles had severe damage.

Airbags had also deployed in both vehicles.

Complaint Alleges Drug Impairment

The complaint says Daigle was found sitting on the road after the crash.

He reported foot or ankle pain.

Authorities said they noticed a strong marijuana odor.

Daigle allegedly had glossy eyes and dilated pupils.

Daigle allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana that morning.

He said he had left a casino in Thief River Falls.

He was reportedly headed to Roseau.

Daigle allegedly said he heard rumble strips.

He also allegedly said he tried to stop but could not.

A blood sample was later taken under a search warrant.

The complaint says the sample was sent to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

A BCA report allegedly found delta-9-THC and cocaine metabolite in Daigle’s blood.

Three people were hurt

The complaint says S.K. was driving the GMC Sierra.

Two juvenile passengers, G.K. and L.K., were also inside.

All three occupants were wearing seat belts, according to court records.

S.K. allegedly suffered a fractured vertebra, concussion, and broken thumb.

G.K. allegedly suffered a broken ankle.

The complaint says G.K. later needed surgery and screws.

L.K. allegedly suffered a concussion and ongoing headaches.

The complaint says L.K. later saw a concussion specialist.

Felony Charges Filed

The charge is listed under Minnesota Statute 609.2113.

Each count carries up to three years in prison.

Each count also carries a possible $10,000 fine.

Court records also note Daigle had prior drug convictions.

Those prior cases were listed from Roseau County in January 2025.

All charges are accusations.

Daigle is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
