Frazee Man Charged In Meth Sale Case

Frazee (trfnews.i234.me) — Christopher Allen Schultz, 38, of Frazee, is facing a felony drug charge in Becker County District Court.

According to court records, Schultz has been charged with felony third-degree drugs. The case involves an alleged methamphetamine sale in rural Frazee.

Controlled Buy Alleged In Court Records

Court records state a member of the West Central Drug Task Force was contacted by a confidential informant.

The informant said they could buy methamphetamine from Schultz, according to the court filing.

A controlled buy was then arranged on July 31, 2025. The buy took place at Schultz’s residence in rural Frazee.

During the buy, the informant allegedly purchased about 3 grams of methamphetamine from Schultz. Court records say the informant paid $150.

Prior Drug Case Listed

Court records also state Schultz was sentenced in 2024 in another felony drug case.

That earlier case involved a third-degree drug possession conviction, according to the court record.

The new charge remains an allegation. Schultz is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

First Court Appearance Scheduled

Schultz’s first court appearance was set for April 30 in Becker County District Court.

The hearing was scheduled before District Judge Michael D. Fritz.
