GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Grand Forks man is facing serious legal trouble after allegedly stealing a vehicle from the estate of a deceased person. Joshua Powers, 45, has been charged with felony theft of property. According to court documents, the incident took place on July 11th, when the victim, holding power of attorney over the estate, reported a 1995 GMC Yukon stolen from a Cherry Street property in Grand Forks. The victim claimed the vehicle was taken by a cousin, identified as Joshua Powers. Police quickly located the stolen vehicle at the home of Powers’ sister, leading to his arrest and subsequent charges.
